Q. Am I responsible for making my hotel reservations?
A. No. FOCUS is responsible for making hotel reservations.
Q. Do I have to pay for my hotel room?
A. No. FOCUS pays the lodging costs for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Students
are only responsible for their incidentals.
Q. How are the rooms assigned?
A. Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Two students share a room.
Occasionally three from same school may want to share. Only invited FOCUS students are
assigned a hotel room. If you desire to choose your roommate, please plan to arrive and
register at the same time.
Q. How do I register for my hotel room?
A. After you check in at the FOCUS Registration table, you will be given your hotel room
assignment. FOCUS registration is from 1:00 p.m.–5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Registration
will continue after dinner for late arrivals.
Q. What happens if I arrive to the hotel late or during dinner?
A. There will be a FOCUS representative to register you.
Q. Who is responsible for the meals?
A. FOCUS is responsible for providing all meals.
Q. May I bring a friend?
A. Participation in the program is by invitation only. If you would like to bring a friend,
you assume responsibility for your own lodging.
